How to play
Character
- Guess today's Tekken 8 character by typing a name in the search bar.
- Each guess shows 6 cells comparing its attributes to the target character: gender, country, fighting style, height, weight and first Tekken game.
- Green = match. Orange = close (country only: same continent). Red = different.
- Height, weight and debut cells show an arrow ↑ or ↓ indicating whether the target value is higher or lower.
- A new character every day at midnight. No guess limit: your score is the number of tries.
Silhouette
- Guess today's character by typing a name in the search bar.
- The character starts as a dark, blurred shadow. Each wrong guess lifts the blur and the darkness, bit by bit.
- A new character every day at midnight. No guess limit.
Stage
- Guess today's Tekken 8 stage.
- After each guess, the image zooms out and reveals more clues.
- A new stage every day at midnight. No guess limit.
Bonus modes
On top of the day's three puzzles, three bonus modes each have a daily answer of their own. Two take the Character and Stage modes under harder rules; the third, Saga, keeps the classic rule and widens the cast to the whole series. Each has its own stats and its own share. A bonus win keeps your streak going, but only the three classic modes clear the day. Their past days can be replayed from Past days too.
Character Challenge
Same roster as the Character mode, but a different fighter every day and a harder rule: a guess uncovers a single cell of its row. The rest come with the following guesses, on every row at once. You reason on partial feedback for several turns, and each guess becomes a real probe rather than a full answer. Unlimited guesses, no game over, and stats kept separate from the classic mode.
Stage Challenge
Same stage pool as the Stage mode, but a different stage every day and three extra levers: the crop starts much closer, the colour is almost entirely drained on the early guesses, and the dezoom runs over ten steps instead of six. Colour is the first thing you read on a stage, so holding it back changes the whole reading. Twelve possible framings, unlimited guesses, no game over.
Saga
The Character grid played over the whole numbered series: 82 fighters, from Tekken 1 to Tekken 8, the 42 of the current roster plus the 40 who were playable before and left. Same rule as the classic grid, so a guess reveals its whole row. Two columns change: Weight gives way to Last game, the numbered Tekken a fighter was last playable in, which reads next to Debut and frames their era. A question mark means the value was never published: Tekken 7 released no character profiles at all, so most of its newcomers have no official height. Unlimited guesses, no game over, separate stats.
